Women’s Day Tasting at Rock of Ages

Today, Drop Squad Kitchen is bringing The Abundance Method™ to the Women’s Day Celebration at Rock of Ages Missionary Baptist Church, Belvedere, DE.

Women’s Day Tasting at Rock of Ages Baptist Church

Today Drop Squad Kitchen is bringing The Abundance Method™ to Women’s Day at Rock of Ages Missionary Baptist Church.

We’ll be serving a tasting of The Marley Salad and introducing Salad Fengshui, our 80-minute class on building balanced, satisfying salads with intention.

The Marley Salad, featured in Drop Squad Kitchen’s Salad Fengshui class, where we teach The Abundance Method™ through balance, flavor, texture, color, and intention

I’ll be serving Marley Salad Samples

I’ll be serving The Marley Salad, which feels like the right dish for this gathering because it represents so much of what I’ve been teaching for years.

The Marley is layered. It has color, texture, richness, freshness, contrast, and enough substance to feel like a full meal. It is the kind of food that helps people understand why I created Salad Fengshui in the first place.

Salad Fengshui is my way of teaching people how to build a salad with intention. I want people to understand how ingredients work together, why one bowl satisfies you and another leaves you looking for something else ten minutes later, and how to create balance without making food complicated.

That idea is part of The Abundance Method™.

I have always believed that food can teach us more than how to cook. It teaches observation, resourcefulness, timing, care, economics, culture, memory, and responsibility. It teaches us how to look at what we already have and see possibility.

That is one of the reasons Drop Squad Kitchen continues to evolve.

For many years, people knew us through the restaurant. That chapter gave me the opportunity to feed people, experiment, create, and prove that plant-based food could hold culture, comfort, flavor, and memory without losing its soul.

Now I am leaning more deeply into the teaching.

Drop Squad Kitchen is becoming a teaching kitchen that can move wherever the people are. Churches, schools, homes, community spaces, organizations, festivals, and classrooms can all become places where this work happens.

That mobility feels right to me.

I want people to leave an experience with more than a good meal. I want them to leave with something they can use again. A technique. A way of thinking. A new relationship with an ingredient. A better understanding of how food can support the household.

That is what I hope people experience today when they taste The Marley.

Some may simply enjoy the salad. Some may become curious about how it was made. Some may decide they want to learn how to build their own bowls through Salad Fengshui. All of those responses matter.

This is how I see the work growing now.

One taste can become a lesson.

One lesson can become a skill.

One skill can become part of how a family lives.

That is the kind of legacy I am interested in building.

If you are at Rock of Ages today, come taste The Marley and say hello.

And if you are ready to learn how I build these bowls, Salad Fengshui is now part of the Drop Squad Kitchen class experience.

Taste The Abundance Method™. Learn the flow. Build your salad with intention.
