Girl Society, NOVA, and DSK present Girls Night Inn

Vegan Cooking Class, Ouija boards, Truth or Dare, friendship crystals, clay facials movies, and a smoothie bar! Is there anything not to like about the slumber parties of our girlhood days?
So instead of your next girls’ night out, how about making it a girls’ night in with the Girl Society, the preeminent organization for aboriginal woman and girls.
We have organized the perfect sister circle and get away!
- Abundance Child will be your in-house chef for the sleepover, providing home-cooked meals and desserts made with whole, fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients. All the recipes prepared will be meals that can be made easily with limited amounts of time (and we will be sending you all home with the recipes, of course!) She will be teaching hands-on cooking classes featuring the above recipes and techniques for quick, unapologetically healthy meals that can be prepared at home regardless of how limited your time is. She also will be sharing time-and moneysaving tips and ideas via a workshop to teach you how to make things like your own toothpaste, deodorant, and skin conditoner.
- Ebony An’am is an Aboriginal Naturopathic Holistic Practioner implementing an indigenous health diagnostic and treatment modality.Which includes treatments for the psycho-social needs and bio-chemical needs of the client to promote optimal health. Ebony is also co-founder and owner of NOVA(nature’s original vegan appetit) a vegan catering company. She will share her documentary film of her natural home birth experience and give evryone a Free copy to take home. Ebony will also be taking us on a nature walk that we will all be able to identify some basic herbs to take home and incorporate into our daily home life management.
